In the past 3 years, what have you done to improve your skills as a real estate professional?

Over the past three years, I have committed to advancing my skills and credentials in real estate. I’ve completed over 200 hours of continuing education and graduated from a Speaker Academy. I became both a TREC Licensed Instructor and a Certified TREEF Instructor. I also completed the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) Designation and earned my Tennessee & Kentucky Principal Broker Licenses.

In addition to formal education, I’ve attended key industry events, including Keller Williams Family Reunion in Las Vegas, Mega Leadership Camp in Round Rock, Texas, and Mega Agent Camp in Austin, Texas. I’ve also participated in the TNEX Summit, TN REALTORS Conventions in French Lick and Savannah, TN Broker Summit in Nashville, YPN Advance in Chicago, Broker Summit in St. Louis, REBarCamp in Nashville, and the NAR Convention in Orlando. These events have enriched my leadership skills, broadened my network, and deepened my expertise in the real estate industry.

What is your history of service to this association and its members?

I have served on 7 local committees and chaired 4 of them since 2016. I have served and represented Clarksville on 4 state committees, and 2 national committees. Education:
I promote leadership development within our membership, and help agents find a path that best fits their goals. I teach continuing education courses for the CAR members and other TN REALTOR® members across Tennessee.

In the summer of 2023, I organized a commercial real estate event called CommercialREvolution, which brought together 100 agents and community members at The Press. I collaborated with key partners, including CoStar, Milan Enterprises, top commercial agents from Clarksville, a commercial attorney who drafts many of the city’s purchase agreements for major development projects, and leaders from the Economic Development Council and Industrial Development Board.

Community Service
During the Thanksgiving for All event, my family and I have volunteered by packing bags and helping deliver turkeys to local elementary schools

Why are you seeking the seat that you are?
I am seeking the position of President-Elect to serve as a dedicated and relatable representative of our association at the highest level. Throughout my career, I have been a strong advocate for our membership and association, representing Clarksville at various state and national conventions and leadership opportunities. I firmly believe that Clarksville is an innovative association, often looked to by others for forward-thinking ideas and best practices.

My passion for member engagement has driven me for the past nine years to actively involve REALTOR® and Affiliate Members in committees and activities that align with their interests while supporting the broader goals of the association. As we look to the future, my vision is to lead by example—encouraging, guiding, and supporting decisions that foster the growth of our membership and expand our impact in the Montgomery and Stewart County communities.

What do you feel are your strongest attributes that you will bring to this position if elected?

As a skilled problem solver and troubleshooter, I consistently seek innovative solutions to longstanding challenges. By maintaining an objective approach and avoiding emotional involvement in decision-making, I am able to make clear, rational, and effective choices.

Additional comments:

I want to express my sincere gratitude to each of you who signed the petition to place my name on the ballot. Your support and dedication mean a great deal to me, and I am honored by the trust you’ve shown in coming together to make this happen.

I look forward to the opportunity, if elected, to work alongside all of you to accomplish even more for our association. It’s clear that our members are eager for change, and I am committed to helping lead the charge in realizing the positive shifts you wish to see. If given the chance, I will work diligently to bring innovative ideas from all corners of our membership and guide our association through the evolving landscape of our industry.

Thank you again for your support, and I am excited for what we can achieve together.
