How long have you been a member of CAR?

I have been a member of CAR for 4.5 years.

In the past 3 years, what have you done to improve your skills as a real estate professional?
Over the last three years, I have made continuing education a priority by staying current with market trends, contract changes, financing programs, and industry best practices. I’ve completed continuing education courses, regularly attended brokerage and industry training, and stayed informed on changes affecting buyers and sellers, including appraisal guidelines, lending updates, and contract revisions.

Beyond formal education, I’ve gained valuable experience through real-world transactions involving VA, FHA, conventional, and new construction properties. Every transaction presents unique challenges, and I make it a point to learn from each one so I can better serve future clients.
I also stay engaged with the local real estate market by monitoring inventory, pricing trends, and neighborhood developments. My goal is to continuously improve my knowledge so I can provide accurate guidance, strong negotiation, and exceptional service to every client I represent

What is your history of service to this association and its members (committees, events, etc.)?
I just graduated from Leadership Academy in Spring of 2026, and I am on the Membership Engagement Committee.

Why do you serve at the association?
I serve at my local Realtor® association because I believe in giving back to the profession that has given so much to me. Being involved allows me to contribute to the growth and success of our real estate community while helping uphold the high standards and ethical practices our clients deserve.
Serving also provides opportunities to collaborate with fellow Realtors®, stay informed on industry changes, and help shape decisions that positively impact both our members and the consumers we serve. I value the relationships I’ve built through my involvement and believe that active participation makes me a stronger advocate for my clients and a better real estate professional.

Why do you want to be Director?
I want to serve as a Director because I believe leadership is an opportunity to serve others and help strengthen our profession. I want to be a voice for our members, contribute thoughtful ideas, and help make decisions that support the success of Realtors® and the communities we serve.

As a Director, I hope to encourage collaboration, promote professionalism, and help ensure our association continues to adapt to the changing real estate industry. I believe strong leadership requires listening, integrity, and a willingness to work alongside others to find solutions that benefit the membership as a whole.

Most importantly, I want to give back to an organization that has invested in me. Serving as a Director would allow me to contribute my time, perspective, and passion while helping build a stronger future for our association and the profession.

What do you feel are your strongest attributes that you will bring to the table if elected?
One of my strongest attributes is common sense. Common sense is a lost art, and I plan on bringing that art back. I believe that good leadership starts with listening, understanding the facts, and making decisions that are fair and practical. I don’t believe every problem needs a complicated solution. Often, the best decisions come from being level-headed, considering different perspectives, and focusing on what is in the best interest of the membership as a whole.

I also bring honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic. If I commit to something, I follow through. I’m approachable, willing to ask questions when I don’t have all the answers, and confident enough to speak up when it’s important while remaining respectful of others’ opinions.

If elected, I will bring a balanced perspective, a willingness to serve, and the commitment to make decisions with integrity, transparency, and common sense.

What are your leadership goals you bring to CAR if you win your position?
I hope to encourage greater member involvement, mentor newer Realtors®, and help strengthen relationships within our association. I also want to stay engaged in the issues affecting our industry so I can advocate for decisions that protect property rights, promote professionalism, and enhance the value of being a Realtor®.
