How long have you been a member of CAR?
I have been a member since I became a real estate agent at the end of May 2021.
In the past 3 years, what have you done to improve your skills as a real estate professional?
I have taken more education than is required, to include MRP and At Home With Diversity. I have attended multiple conferences, with my very first one being NAR NXT in Boston in 2024. I am also a 2024 Leadership Academy graduate.
What is your history of service to this association and its members (committees, events, etc.)?
I have served on committees since day one. I have been on RPAC from the beginning becoming the vice-chair in 2025 and current chair. I have been on Helping Hands, Professional Development, and the Leadership Academy Committee. I have not only attended multiple association events but I have helped to organize them as well.
Why do you serve at the association?
I serve at the association because I truly love it. I believe that being a part of a strong association will always make you a better real estate agent. I believe that the connections we make through the association are invaluable, they allow us to build a stronger business. The association allows us to develop relationships that we might not otherwise have.
Why do you want to be Director?
I want to be a director because I want to be able to serve the members of the association. I want to be a part of making things even better for each of our members. While I absolutely think we have an amazing association there is always room for growth and to make things better, and the way to make things better is to work together to get there.
What do you feel are your strongest attributes that you will bring to the table if elected?
One of the biggest attributes I will bring to the position of director is my passion to serve and help. Everything I’ve done in my life has had some type of service to it, from being a paramedic to a college professor to a real estate agent to running a rescue. Helping people, working to make things better, that is my happy place.
What are your leadership goals you bring to CAR if you win your position?
I want to see us all work together to make the association even stronger than it already is. I want to make sure that the members truly know that this is their association. I want each member to see the true value that comes from being a member of the Clarksville Association of REALTORS and that it is far more the MLS.
Any additional statement or information:
I absolutely love our association. Being a member is more than just a name to me it is one of the reasons I am still a real estate agent. We all know that real estate can be tough and for me when it has been really rough being involved at the association has kept me going. Making a commitment to the committees and knowing that if I gave up on real estate then I am giving up on the association and giving up on my commitments has helped to keep me going. No real estate means no association
