How long have you been a member of CAR?
I have been a member of the Clarksville Association of REALTORS® since March 2021. Since joining CAR, I have intentionally sought opportunities to serve, grow as a real estate professional, and give back to the association through committee work, leadership development, and education. CAR has played an instrumental role in my career, and I have been honored to serve alongside so many dedicated REALTOR® volunteers.
In the past 3 years, what have you done to improve your skills as a real estate professional?
Over the past three years, I have intentionally invested in both my professional education and leadership development to better serve my clients and fellow REALTORS®. During that time, I earned my Tennessee Real Estate Broker license and obtained several professional designations and certifications, including ABR®, SRS, MRP, AHWD, and C2EX.
As a certified Continuing Education Instructor, I have the privilege of teaching National Association of REALTORS® certification courses, including At Home with Diversity® (AHWD) and the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification, as well as courses on REALTOR® Safety, artificial intelligence, social media marketing, and professional development. Teaching not only allows me to share knowledge with my peers but also challenges me to stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Beyond the classroom, I actively participate in local and state REALTOR® events, leadership development opportunities, and continuing education to expand my knowledge strengthen my leadership skills, and remain informed on issues affecting our profession. I believe that lifelong learning is essential to providing exceptional service, leading with integrity, and helping move our industry forward.
What is your history of service to this association and its members (committees, events, etc.)?
Serving CAR has been one of the most rewarding parts of my real estate career. I have served on multiple committees, including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Professional Development, Member Engagement, and Young Professionals Network (YPN).
I graduated from the CAR Leadership Academy and now have the privilege of serving as Chair of the Leadership Academy, where I help develop future leaders within our association.
Whether volunteering at association events, supporting educational initiatives, or mentoring newer members, I believe every opportunity to serve strengthens our
REALTOR® community.
Why do you serve at the association?
I serve because strong associations create strong REALTORS®. CAR has provided me with education, mentorship, leadership opportunities, and lasting
relationships that have helped shape my career. Serving allows me to give back while helping create an environment where every member, regardless of
experience level, brokerage, or background, has access to resources, education, and opportunities to succeed.
Why do you want to be Director?
I want to serve as a Director because I believe leadership is about listening, representing the membership, and helping move our association forward.
As our industry continues to evolve through technology, changing consumer expectations, and legislative issues, I want to help ensure CAR remains innovative, financially responsible, and focused on delivering value to its members.
I hope to be a voice that encourages collaboration, transparency, and thoughtful decision-making while supporting initiatives that strengthen our profession and
our community.
What do you feel are your strongest attributes that you will bring to the table if elected?
My strongest attributes are:
– A servant’s heart and willingness to lead by example.
– Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
– A passion for education and professional development.
– Strategic thinking with an innovative mindset.
– The ability to collaborate with diverse perspectives while keeping the association’s mission at the center of every decision.
I strive to be approachable, dependable, and solutions-oriented, and I believe those qualities would serve the Board well.
What are your leadership goals you bring to CAR if you win your position?
If elected, my leadership goals are to foster a culture of collaboration, engagement, and continuous growth within CAR.
When I talk about creating an inclusive association, I mean creating an environment where every member feels welcomed, valued, and encouraged to get involved. Whether someone is a brand new REALTOR®, a seasoned broker, actively involved in CAR, or attending an event for the first time, I want them to know they belong. My goal is to create opportunities for members to build relationships, volunteer, learn, and become engaged in the life of our association.
Education is also a top priority for me. I want to encourage members to pursue learning beyond the minimum continuing education requirements so they
can better serve their clients, adapt to changes in our industry, and grow their businesses.
The Clarksville Association of REALTORS® has built а reputation as a leader among associations across Tennessee. My goal is to help us continue setting the
standard for excellence through strong leadership, innovation, and a commitment to serving our members.
Any additional statement or information:
It has been an honor to serve the REALTOR® community through my involvement with CAR, Tennessee REALTORS®, and the Nashville chapter of the National
Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB). In addition to my service with CAR, currently serve on the Tennessee REALTORS® Convention Committee, am a
graduate of the Tennessee REALTORS® A.R.E.A. Leadership Program, and serve as 2nd Vice President of the Nashville chapter of NAREB.
These leadership opportunities have allowed me to learn from real estate professionals across Tennessee and from leaders with diverse experiences and
perspectives. I value the opportunity to exchange ideas, learn what is working well in other organizations, and bring those insights back to help CAR continue building on its strong foundation.
If elected, I will lead with integrity, professionalism, and a servant’s heart. I am committed to listening, collaborating, and helping ensure the Clarksville
Association of REALTORS® continues to be a plaсе where members feel welcomed, supported, and inspired to grow.
